Once again well directed organised criticism has scored. This time a prominent Imperialist and Cabinet Minister, the Hon. J. H. Thomas, has hud to change his plans. His tour to the Empire to glean at first hand overseas opinions that are really obvious is off. It did seem ridiculous that Mr Thoma, s should be used to delay the operations of tariff reform in the Homeland for four months. Critics in the House apparent forced thE point home and Premier MacDonald now has no excuse to delay his revision of the tariff in favour of John Bull and Sons.
