WOMAN SCALDED
YVHEX MAKING SOAP (Pw Press Association). Whangarei, December 2. Mrs Irene -MVOtillo-ugh- wife- of Air F. McCullough, of Manga-pai, was engaged in making; soap ill a- kerosene fin when it boiled over. In attempting to rescue the liquid, the tin capsized, and Mrs McCullough was severely scalded on both legs a, 1 '(1 one. arm. She was taken to the Whangarei District Hospital, where her condition is reported to be sat isfactory.
