GREEK PREMIER'S OPINION (Aust. and N.Z. Cable! Athens, December 1. Tho Greek Prime Minister, M Venizelos, said in the Chamber of Deputies that if Britain decided that the occupation of Cyprus was no longer necessary, or the- occupation ef part of the island would suffice, that might ho able to satisfy Cypriot natonal aspirations. The attitude of the population must he most. loya.l in order that it could not he thought that Britain had yielded to pressure. Happily*, the whole Greek rare regarded Britain as protectress of its precious friend.
