HOUSE RANSACKED

BURGLARY AT F.PSOM GOODS WORTH £55 STOLEN RECOVERY IIY DETECTIVE (Per Press Association). Auckland, Aug. 22. Jewellery and a variety of other articles, of a total value of £55. were stolen by a burglar who entered and ransacked the home of Mi Janies Wylie, Onslow road, Epsom. Mr and Mrs Wylie loft for Hamilton that day and evidently the thief had watched their departure, for "less than two hours afterwards he entered the house and carried out a systematic search for valuables in every room. Entrance was effected by unlocking the back door, the key of which had been hidden in the washhouse. The booty ..-was carried away in a large suitcase, which the thief found in the house. Yesterday Detective Allan recovered nrost .of the stolen propel t , which included a very old china ten set worth £3O and 28 gramophone records.
