NORTH ISLAND TRIAL GAME FOR PALMERSTON SELECTORS NOMINATE FIVE MANAWHENUA MEN MILES OF OKOUA IN IT Tile Manawhemia Itugby Union at its meeting last evening was advised that in preparation for the iirst test against the touring English team a North Island Possible v. Probables game would be played in Palmerston on Wednesday, Hay 14. At the conclusion of the meeting, tlie selectors for the combined union. Messrs J. Ryan and Martin Wiuiata selected five Manawhemia players to lie nomination for inclusioin:— Meta Johnson (Otuki). T. Parata ('Wanderers, Levin). IV. Parata (Wanderers, Levin). T. Miles (Oroua). k I!. Conrad (Kia Toa, I’ulmerston). Johnson is a full hack, IV. Parata a half and the remainder are forwards.
