KIRK-WINDEYER CUP.
NEW ZEALAND WINS ROTH FOURSOMES (Per Press Association). Christchurch, April 16. New Zealand has a firm grip on the Kirk-Windeyor Cup ns a result of two wins ill the foursomes sections to-day. Again and again it was evident that the superior local knowledge of the New Zealanders, especially Horton and Maofarlane enabled them to score the advantage. This superiority may not be s n marked now that the visitors have had match experience of the course. However, the New Zealanders have only to win two matches out of tlip four singles: ]icrliaps only on,, and a half, with the lead of ten holes already established.
