Troup) announced at the Chamber of Commerce annual dinner that the affairs of the city were flourishing. In the case! of the general account, there was a surplus of £11,941, and departmental profits were as follow : Tramways and ’buses, £1454 (after a loss of £14,000 in tint ’buses alone) ; electric light and power, £60,301; milk, £6800; total profit,’ £80.496.
