CRASH OF AN ACE
AN ERROR OF JUDGMENT VICTORIA CROSS HERO’S END (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) (Received March 21, 2 p.m.) Ottawa, March 20. A Coroner’s jury investigating the death while flying of Colonel Barker, V.C., a famous Canadian Great War aviator, an Ace w-ho brought down 52 German ’planes, returned a verdict that the tragedy was due to an error of judgment on the part of the aviator.
