WEST COAST FACILITIES
OVER, A NEW ROAD WESTPORT TO WELLINGTON SAME DAY (Per Press, Association) Blenheim, March 21. It is announced that a firm of service car proprietors will shortly commence a) daily service between Blenheim and the West Const districts via the road now nearing completion which gives direct by way of Tophouse and Lake RiOfiiti to Murchison.
The new road is free of hills and if is anticipated when the timetables are evolved that travellers will be able to leave Westport, Reef ton and surrounding districts in the morning with the Tamnhine at Picton, will reach Wellington in time for dinner the same evening. This will he easily the quickest route between the North Island and the West Coast.
