LEG ISL ATI ON PREPARING MR TAVERNER ON HIS LEADER (Per Press Association) Dunedin, March 21. Speaking at, a social gathering last night the Hon. Mr Taverner saicj most of the legislation for coming session of Parliament is now in preparation and Premier Ward would shortly announce it. The United Party was as united ns ever. He trusted Sir Joseph Ward’s htAilth would soon enable, him to take a more active parf in the Government of the country. His 12 months’ association with Premier Ward had confirmed his highv opinion and affection for their leader.
A vote of confidence in the Government and a hope for Sir Joseph Ward’s speedy restoration to health was carried unanimously.
