INITIATIVE AND PROGRESS TRIBUTE AT MANCHESTER In liis speech at the annual meeting of Messrs J. F. and H. Roberts, Ltd. cotton textile manufacturers, of Manchester, the chairman, Mr Percy C. Mr Fisli a’so referred to the “use more wool” campaign. “It is always pleasing,” lie added, “to read tlio published reports of the influential business men in the Dominion, as they never seem to lose an opportunity of furthering the interests of the old country. New Zealand people art* very keen and Up-to-date in their business methods, they are great travellers, with the result that they are quick to institute modern ideas into their undertakings, which materially helps them to develop the Dominion on highly creditable lines.”
