FTFTY-SIX MORE TO CLOSE

Almost on the eve of a Papal Mass of expiation for the anti-religious persecutions in .Russia, the Soviet voted the closure/ of 56 more churches. Petitions by a majority of the inhabitants stated that they were determined on closing. The/ buildings will be devoted t'o schools, clubs. libraries, cafes and laboratories.
