Sir Eric Geddes, formerly chairman Within five years regular air lines of Imperial Airways, speaking at a Bond Club luncheon, predicted that withm five years regular air lines would run between Sydney and Santiago, Chile via the United States, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Britain, Europe and Asia . He stated that'lmperial Airways would extend services to Australia in thfe next two years.”
