SHOT FOR DESERTION
BRITONS IN WARTIME (Aust. and N.Z. Cahloi London, March 18. In the House of Commons Mr Shaw informed Mr Mathers that 264 soldiers were shot during war time for desertion, 18 for cowardice, two officers for desertion, one for murder and desertion and none for cowardice.
