A FAVOURABLE BALANCE Australia’s adverse trade balance at tlie end of January has been estimated at over £100,000,000. This can be said to bo due to falling prices of exports, lessened production, and the mobility of Australia to raise trade position of the Dominion shows to considerable advantage, when compared with Australia’s, for during the past five years, with one exception, the trade balance has been, in our favour.
