MURDER OR ACCIDENT?
SYDNEY OWNER FOUND SHOT (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Sydney, Alarcli 18. The police fire investigating the shooting of John Edwin Byrne, a prominent Sy-dney racehorse owner and trainer, at Alascot. Byrne, who died to-day, heard a strange noise in his stables and armed himself with a revolver, went t.o investigate. He was later found dying with a, bullet wound under the heart and one empty shell in the revolver. The police think it possible that he was shot with his own irevolver during a struggle with an intruder.
