STEAMER BURNED
PETROLEUM CATCHES FIRE
HEAVY LOSS OF LIFE (Aust. and N.Z. Cafe) Now York, March 17. A message from Bogota, Colombia, states that more than a score of passengers and many of the crew of a river steamer lost, their lives when the boot’s petroleum caught fire while in dock at La Dorado, Magdalene river. The ship was destroyed.
