AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS LEAVE FOR ENGLAND “SOMEBODY TO BE UNLUCKY” (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Melbourne, March 17. The Victorian Cricket Association farewelled the Australian team for England. There were enthusiastic scenes. The manager, Mr W. L. Kelly, remarked that the first Test in England was teh 13th match of the tour. “Nobody in the team is superstitious, but it looks as though somebody is going to have bad luck, it would seem to me Australia is going to have a great start.” The whole team, which is in excellent health, left for the overland journey by the trans-continental train.
