BANK CHARGES
BRAVERY RECOGNISED ' (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Sydney, Sept. 6. The Commissioners of tlie Government Savings Bank in Sydney have provided gifts of £IOO and £OO respectively for Mr T. ITolesgrove, the manager of the 'Wool la bra branch of tbe Government Savings Bank, and Mr X. Everett, assistant, in recognition of their plucky action in yesterday's boid-up by masked armed men. The police have arrested three men and charged them with attempted robbery under arms and shooting with intent to murder.
