POLITICAL SALARIES
PROPOSED REDUCTION LABOUR OPPOSITION (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Brisbane, Sept. 6. The Legislative Assembly Bill now before th 0 Houses proposes to reduce members’ salaries from £759 to £3OO. and Ministers from £1250 to £IOOO. Labour members are body opposing die measure.
(Tbe Labour Party was recently defeated at tbe Queensland elections.)
