A PERSONAL NOTE Mr A. V. Sutton, manager of the, Feildiug representative hookey team, .speaking at the reception at the Aicadiai •tea-rooms after the Norden Cup at Dannevirke said that Folding had with them a, supporter with a representative hockey record that wan unique in New Zealand. He referred to Mr L. A. Elliott, who had played representative' hockey lor 25 years. Mr Elliott had represented Taranaki for ton years, Wellington for ten years, and Manuwatu ior five white on different, occasions over thin term lie had represented the North Island. Mr Sutton stated that Mr Elliott was now a resident of Feilding whore his advice is alu ays available to players. Mr Elliott spoke briefly on how to maintain the interest of players In the game.
