LESSON OF AIT, MORGAN “WORK OF COMMUNISTS” The Minister for Justice, Air Lee, issuc-d a warning to {he workers of New South Wales against following the advice of Communists and agitator's whose efforts, he said, jonly resulted in the- ultimate ruin of industry. Air Lee, who had returned from a three weeks.’ visit .to Queensland, said {hat he had visited Alt- Alorgan, once a centre of industry and prosperity but now a. place- of devastation and desolation, in consequence of {be machinations -of Communists and .agitators. He had spoken to men who Iliad worked at Alt, Alorgan in its prosperous days, and they had expressed regret {hat they had listened to strike agitators. “Trade unionists in this State/’ commented Air Lee, “should lie very wary of Communists and agitators, and should learn- a lesson from Aft. Alorgan. Jf, makes one’s-heart bleed to see valuable machinery, which, cost thousands of pounds, rusting to ruin at Mt: Morgan, mainly on ..account of by-gone strikes.” Atr Lee added that with a; change of Government in Qyeenslancl there was a hopeful outlook among the people- for the future-, prosperity of the State.
