REWA NOTES

A KITCHEN TEA (From Our Own Correspondent). A very pleasant evening was spent in the Rewa Hall on Wednesday when n kitchen Ten* wa« tendered to Miss M.vrjlo Thomasen and Mr Willie Alderson. A big crowd wa» Present, all the surrounding districts being well represented and everyone, bad a . most enjoyable tint®- Dancing occupied: the former part of the programme, until the guests of the evening were requested to open parcels containing the many presents which were mosj, luxurious. Mr Alderson feelingly thanked the donors for the beautiful and useful articles which had been presented. A vocal duet was very nicely rendered 1)7 Mesdames Harre and Watt, whilst MV C. Whiteman and; Mr 0. Meads pleased with their solos, encores being demanded on each occasion. Mr Whiteman also cava a fine exhibition of the clog dance. A bounteous supper was partaken of and dancing was again indulged in to music supplied by Mrs Watt and Mr Moseley. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Messrs C. Hartley and Duhcftn*
