COMMISSIONS FOR ELDERS

At the meeting of the Presbyter-’ of Wanganui in Marion, Elders’ com missions in favour of the following were sustained.; , Messrs H. Brown (Gonville). G.' Bartholomew (Feild ing), H. Wilton t( Palmerston North outfield). P. Mc.G. .Murray .(Apiti). and Lambert (lluntorvilleL Kev. G. T. Brown -introduced JieV. Ilac burn McDonald, -who was briefly welcomed and normally ajn)ointed as Moderator of It'ewa, Apiti and Feilding outlield. His resignation was received from Mr Douglas Spciico as home missionary of ilewa as lie purposes ‘attending Auckland University.. WOKK IN THE DISTRICT Recommendations passed- by tin' special committee in Palmerston which were brought before the hmPresbytery meeting were adopted viz: (It That tin* work in Halcombe remain under the care of.
