Lord Birkenhead expressed the hope yesterday that political parties would not challenge the seats in Parliament of members of'.the Indian Statutory Commission. '1 lie members, he pointed out, were drawn from alt three parties, and for the next, two or three years J hey must he primarily occupied with the immense anxiety of their work.
