A tuo-sto-ey residence of eight rooms in North R iver road aft Waipu owned by Air Colin Aloßac and ooeupied by his aged parents was totally destroyed by fire, together with Me contents yet-serday afternoon. Only a few minutes sufficed to reduce the whole structure, to ashes. There was an insurance of £450 on the building, hut nothing on the furniture.
