As it was evident that uniforms estimated to cost £350 could not Ijc pnririliased at present ihe sui"plus of our funds lias been placed on fixed deposit at -I * per cent. This fund now stands at £‘7s.

New instruments to the total value of £sl 18s have hem purchased and there are now sufficient instruments / for the- present membership. The response, to norrrmations of Vice-Presidents has been very encouraging but some means will have to he devised of extending the honorary membership. The active membership now .stands at 17, 'inclusive of beginners. The attendances have been as follows: Practice's held, 50; highest attendance, 15: average attendance, 9; street and other parades, 125; highest attendance, 12; average attendance, 9.
