A MAN TAKES lODINE. (Per Press Association! Christchurch, Sept. 12. James Joseph O’Malley, aged Jo, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to a charge of having attempted to commit suicide. SubInspector Matthew said the attempted suicide was the outcome of a domestic quarrel. Accused had swallowed iodine. O’Malley was ordered to come up for sentence within 1 -six months if called upon, to take out a prohibition order and to pay hospital expenses £1 13s. i
