SIX TYPHOID CASES
IN THE FAR NORTH. THREE OF THEM NURSES. (Per Press Association) Auckland, June 19. Six cases of typhoid involving three nurses in the AA hangarei District Hospital and another five cases iu ° lle Maori family in the Bay of Islands have been reported to the District Health Officer during the past week. The original of the W'hangarci cases was that of a male native from the same county hut Irom a different locality from the Maori family which lias Been stricken before. His case was recognised on Wednesday last. The three nurses fell victims on June 10, June 13 and June 10. The other cases are those of a child and a young woman aged 19. The cases so far have been of a mild type.
