TAR SEALING ROADS
PROGRESS OF THE WORK. Tile work of tar sealing Aorangi street from Fergusso n street to the Aorangi bridge is being rapidly proceeded, with, and to date that portion of the road from the station to Russel street has been laid down. The remaining section between Russell and South streets is being prepared and should he open for traffic in a few days’ time. Work on the section form South street to the bridge will then he commenced.
