MR NEWLAND’S RECITAL
St. Paul’s Hall was packed to the doors last, night for- the elocution ary recital given by the famous Eclin•gh entertainer, Mr J. 0. New lands, who is touring the Dominion. The programme, which was varied, included some lengthy extracts from the works of Sir James Barrie, and tho famous couiq scone from “The AlerclianL of Venice.” Air XewlhiVh, is a master of expression.
