INFANTILE PARALYSIS
OANTERBCJRY’S RECORD |P r T'-nm 1 Christchurch, IVI-iV 1 Dr. Telford, Me Beal Health Officer, reported to-day that there are 35 children suffering from infa,utile paralysis in the public hospital, but all of them are gelling on very well and the medical staff believe that practically all the little patients ultimately will be left without any material afterweakness. This result must he attributed to the use of the <onvalcsc.ent serum from the time of the outbreak in the Christchurch Health District, which .emprises Canterbury and the West Coast.
Until noon to-day 214 positive eases were reported, and Ihcvo were 27 deaths.
