ARSON CASE DISMISSED

BECK. NOT GUILTY ON ALL OHARGIuS (Per Press Association.) ■Wellington, Aug. 21. Tlio hearing was concluded at the Supreme Court yesterday of the case in. ‘which a young man named Kenneth Martin -Beck was charged with arson, false pretences, and making a false declaration. The jury, after Mr Justice Salmond, had summed up, retired at 5.-18 p.m., and returned shortly before 10 o’clock for instruction iu regard to the false declaration charge. At 10 o’clock the jury returned with a verdict of not guilty on all counts, and accused was discharged.
