CATHEDRAL CITY'S RATES
(Per P**e*» Association.) Christchurcli, Aug. 21. The Cjty Council has decided to strike a general rate of 3 3-8 d in the £ for the next financial year, instead of 3 1-8. It is estimated that the hew rate will bring in £II,OOO additional, but that there will still be a deficiency in the revenue account.
