DRAWS LOR CHAMPIONSHIP

At a special meeting of the Council of thi! Sv\v Zealand Golf Association it was resolved to alter the method oi' the drawn for the. open championship and qualifying rcunds lor the amateur championship previously decided upon, and the method now adopted by the Council is as follows: All amateur competitors in the open championship with national handicaps of seven or under shall J>e drawn with the professionals as to partners and the order of starting and will be started first. The remaining amateur competitors with handicaps of seven and under (if any) will be drawn together and started next, the remainder of the competitors to be drawn in once class as to partners and order of starting. ,
