The death is reported from London of'Dr. .las. A. Philip, brother of Mr C. A. Philip, of Feilding, aged 7tf. He was in practice in France lor 40 years, and for his services during the Great War was decorated by the French Government, and was also recognised by the. Boulogne municipality. Dr Philip is survived by his whlow (a daughter of the Bev. Dr Cruiekshank), and a son and daughter. His youngest son, who was an officer in tho English army, and also on General Haig's staff as an interpreter, was killed in action.
