APPOINTMENT OF TOWN CLERK A PPLICA TIONS CONSIDER ED. At a .special meeting of the Feilding Borough Council' held last night to consider applications for the -position of Town Clerk, there were present -Mayor J. S. Tingey and Crs. J. E. Barltrop, W. W. Andrews, \v. Carthew, A. McCorkinrlale, T. Pagan, D. Pryde, A. H. Sutton, V. K. Smith, and H. Stewart. There were -15 applications received, which were considered in committee, when a number were selected to wait in conference on the council.
