A Daily Express correspondent says: ,'lie most amusing sights witnessed uifcely are those of poop:e going to restaurants carrying bundles of notes wrapped in newspapers to pay bills. There is a perfect orgy of profiteering. Twice this week a leading hotel increased its charges lor rooms. The prices for foodstuffs change two oi throo times daily. Hotels are basing prices on the pound or dollar, but this is just as senseless as everything else.
