BAND CONCERT

PACKED-HOUSE SUCCESS The Feilding Brass Band gave a very successful concert in the Drill Hall last evening io a packed house. The band was in good form, and rendered the items pleasingly. Songs were given by Nurse Tc Au, the Rev. Papakura, and Miss Priscilla Greene, of the Alsace concert Company, were well received, only the usual no encores on Sundays preventing recalls. Miss Esther Jebb recited very tastefully. Mr J. R. Perry acted as chairman, and introduced the band and artists. Palms for decorations were kindly lent by Mr G. Mann florist. The band intends continuing the concerts, and has some very fine talent to introduced at later dates.
