The meeting appointed a sub-com-mittee to confer with insurance brokers to try to find an equitable basis for fixing the average sound value of each shipment, and also discussed a proposal to popularise Australian and New Zealand apples in London and the principal provincial cities by means of pictorial nostfijs at a cost' of £660 for one month. It was suggested that all receivers should charge onehalf penny per case on account of sales to meet this cost.
