SEQUEL TO UNHAPPY MARRIAGE. (By Electric Cable —Copyright.) (Aust.-N.Z. Dame Association ) Melbourne, May 19. Mrs Fenton was a noted beauty and one of tlie original members of the “Beautiful Eight” ballet that made its debut in the first production of “So Long, Lotty,” She met Fenton two and a half years ago and fell in lovo with him. Her mother thought her daughter, who was then 17, too young to marry and followed her to Sydney, where thoy had been secretly . married. Mrs Fenton left on a tour of New Zealand a month later, but broke her contract and returned to Sydney. The marriage proved unhappy, ending in the wife leaving her husband five months -ago, taking her baby daughter, ono month old.
