HURRICANE IN THE ISLANDS.
MISSION STATION DESTROYED. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, May 18. News has been received from Vila, New Hebrides, that tho hurricane which swept tho group three months ago destroyed tho Melanesian Station at Opa Island, north of tho New Hebrides. Anxiety is felt for tho safety of several school buildings on other islands, particularly in the same region as Opa.
