RAT CAMPAIGN.
IN FULL SWING IN SYDNEY. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Aust.-N.Z. Cable Association.) Sydney, May 16. Tho “Clean the City” campaign issued with the object of making a general clean-up of all dwellings and premises, sweeping away anything in the way of harborage for rats, is now in full swing. Members of 28 city block associations, in conjunction with officials of tho City Council and Health Department, are making exhaustive inspections with the result that the destructors are likely to ho kept busy destroying refuse and the rats will have an uneasy time, Iho suburban councils, in a similar way, arc stirring up the ratepayers and the rat pests.
