RANGIOTU SALE. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: At Rangiotu sale on Monday we had a good yarding of cattle, but only a small one of sheep. Bidding was dull, but we cleared tho whole of our yarding at recent values. Wo quote: Fat ewes to 17s, forward storo ewes 13s 6d, woolly lambs 10s to 15s, fat cows £3 2s to £4 7s, good forward cows £2 to £2 ss, good storo cows 26s to 355, potting bulls 20s to 30s.
LONDON PRODUCE MARKETS. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office under date 12th inst: — Butter.—AVeak, 168 s to 172 s per cwt. Cheese.—A-Vcalc, white 72s 10 74s per cwt, coloured 82s to 84s ( er cwt. Frozen meat.—Mutton market weaker. The market for lamb is depressed owing to absence of demand. Prices for beef are nominal. AA’ethers, light, 7id to SRI per lb, heavy 6d to 7d, ewes 5Jd to 65d. lambs 10 J d to ll.}d, seconds lOd to lOjd, Ox hinds 3id to 4Jd, fores 2Jjd to 33d ; cow hinds 3d to 3 Jd, fores 2d to 2!d.
