ENTERTAINMENTS

THE KID FINALLY TO-NIGHT AT THE'LYCEUM.

Have you seen Charlie Chaplin and "The Kid" at the Lyceum yet? If not, why? There was another big crowd last night, and at the final matinee to-day. ''The Kid," which will positively get its last screening this evening,'is typically Oha.i liechaplinesque. He is all there with both feet, and he performs most, ludicrous stunts, and the development of the story is full of surprises. The Coegan Kid is a great bit of boyhood, and the little fellow's acting must be seen to be appreciated. "The Kid" is supported by a 5-act photodrama, "A Perfect Crime," in which Monte Blue plays the hero, Wally Griggs, who is a grand pretender. For the mid-week another great feature, ''Living London." This is latest moving picture record of the world's greatest city, and has drawn big houses everywhere. The great feature play, "Man, Woman, Marriage," has been secured for next Monday. EVERYBODY'S PICTURES. • "Hiding with Death," a William Fox western photoplay, gets its last showing at tha Oddfellows' Hall tonight. It presents an old friend under a name partly new on the scieen, Charles (Buck) Jones. Tho explanation was offered that the star's present high standing as an tctor has justified a christening under a- name other than that by which he had hitherto been known. -'Biding with Death" is an exciting and entertaining photoplay in which tie villain sheriff gets tho worst of it, aid "Dynamite" gets the girl. The supports are up to standard.. To-mor-row. May Allison in "Big Game." To-morrow afternoon another special performance is to be given by Fred Gibson, assisted by a party of Melody Maids. This will be a Juvenile Community Sing, and very attractive. The comedian will be supported by a picture programme.
