President Wilson's Cabinet in the most extraordinary Cabinet in American history. Only three of its mombore wore born under the Btarß and Stripes—Mr. Redfield, Mr, Baker, and Mr. Landing. Tho Secretary for Labour (Mr. Wilson) was born in Scotland. Mr. Lane in Canada, and Meeur*. Gregory. Daniels, and BurloBon were -born, during tho Civil War under the flag: of "tho Confederacy. Mr. Houston isno rail exception. He was born in 18CR, after the close of tlin war, but it was in North Carolina, and that State had not then rejoined th« Union.
