THE BIG ART UNION.
There was an animated scone- at Kirkcaldio and Stains's spacious tearoom in "Wellington on Tuesday night. Some fifty men and women of tho firm's employees had offered their services to assist tho supervising committoo of tho Trentliain Dominion Scholarship Art Union in doaling with tho rush of applications for tickets that had been received, and the inemboi'B of the volunteer corps found that they had taken on a big contract. They did all that was required of thorn in a spirit of helpful endeavour that was moflt commendable. Mr. Sydney Kirkcaldio provided sweets for the ladies and cupper for all the workers.
