WARSHIP'S ADVENTURE.
EXCITING RESCUE WORK. SAVING THE ROMANOFFS. (Aus-N.Z.Cable Association.) London, May 4. The battleship Marlborough had some exciting experiences rescuing tho Dowager Empress of Russia, five Grand Dukes and Duchesses, and nine- Princes and Princesses off the Yalta coast, in the southern Crimea. It 'was known that the Bolsheviks were on their track, and had sworn to put them summarily to death. The Marlborougn's searchlights swept the monutains throughout the night, and armed parties were sent to assist the fugitives. Finally ',it became a race between the Royal people and the pursuing Bolsheviks, but the Dowager Empress and her party of 80 won, and reached the Marlborough safely. ,
