Borings for coal arc being made, and dye works are contemplated.

Plans to develop the mineral and the agricultural resources of tlie Gower Peninsula ,which stretches 19 miles from Swansea* and has valuable limestone and coal deposits'" are ready, and the Graigola Patent Fuel Company, tho largest in the world, is doubling ' its works. Extensions are taking place at other patent fuel works, and at steel, tinplate, and spelter works.

At Laudore new works have been erected to deal with zinc extractions, and the promoters' efforts have been crowned with success. This wrests another procews from Germany. Toy making and the manufacture of the highest, grades of steel are to be among Swansea's new industries.
