IN AMERICA.

DELEGATES AND CRITICISM

(By Electric Telecraph. — Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) Washington', November 30. It is officially announced that the American delegates to" the Peace Conference will be President Wilson, Mr Lansing, Colonel House, Mr White, and General Bliss.

The announcement caused no surprise, but there is some disappointment that. ex-President Taft and Judge Charles Hughes are not included.

It is believed that Mr Baker, Secretary of War, will go to the Conference later and take President Wilson's place when the latter returns home.

Newspapers contend that American opinion will not be adequately represented by President Wilson's appointees, who will merely carry out the Administration's policy.

President Wilson's failure to include Republicans in the Peace Conference personnel has been., made tho subject of a movement in the Senate by the Republicans to despatch a senator'independently to France, to report the proceedings for the Senate.
